Della Waggoner, born as Fidela Perez Olivarez in a quaint South Texas town, draws deep inspiration from the tapestry of her life. Della's life took a profound turn when, as a registered nurse, her second child was diagnosed with Werdnig-Hoffmann Syndrome, a rare and life-threatening disease with a grim life expectancy. Undeterred, Della fought passionately for her son's quality of life, defying the odds as he miraculously thrived for almost 29 years.
