A warm and witty picture book about valuing others, no matter how small, and standing up for what you believe in.

There are six residents in Mr Tall’s house . . . but only three of them are welcome. Somehow Mr Tall doesn’t seem to think that a spider, a frog, or a moth really belong in his home. He’d rather shoo them out! But when the so-called ‘pests’ join together to start a protest, Mr Tall learns that every creature, no matter how small, has an important part to play. A funny, heart-warming story about valuing everyone and how the smallest act of resilience can spark change.

Roisin Swales is an illustrator and animator based in Manchester, who graduated in 2016 from Manchester School of Art with a First Class Honours in Illustration with Animation. Her main focus is illustration for children's picture books, animation and character design. She was the winner of the World Wide Picture Book Illustration Competition in 2015 for her book "Johnny Dolans Cat". She was also given a "Highly Commended" award from Macmillan Picture Books for her book "Why is Grandad Grumpy?" in 2016 and was part of an exhibition at Foyles in London.
