The dawn of a new era for humanity has arrived. First contact has been made with an advanced alien species known as the Eo’Tarx, and the two civilizations begin the path toward understanding. CIA linguist Danko Orton is dispatched, tasked with studying communication with the Eo’Tarx alongside his alien counterpart No’mi. Their work is quickly disrupted when it becomes clear that the two are attracted to one another. Jerry Frissen (born Thierry Frissen in Belgium) is an American comic book writer and toy & graphic designer. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the recently relaunched comics anthology magazine Metal Hurlant in France, as well as the author of several best-selling graphic novels, including the anthology comic book series Lucha Libre (Unfabulous Five, The Tikitis), The Fire of Theseus, Exo, Simak, and the new cycle of the internationally acclaimed series The Metabarons, co-written with Alejandro Jodorowsky and illustrated by Valentin Sécher, Niko Henrichon, and Pete Woods.

His book The Zombies That Ate The World, illustrated by Guillermo Del Toro collaborator Guy Davis, was recently adapted by RKSS of Turbo Kid for the silver screen as We Are Zombies. 

Roberto Zaghi began working as a cartoonist in the 90s, for the Sergio Bonelli publishing house. Over the years he has illustrated issues of various genres for the series Zona X, Nathan Never, Legs Weaver, Orfani and Julia—the latter having met with great success in Italy. He has also illustrated seven books by Thomas Silane for Bamboo / Grand Angle and several years ago he joined the artistic team of the western comic series Tex Willer. Star-Crossed is his second book with Humanoids, the first, Makhno: Ukrainian Freedom Fighter, released in 2022.
