Suzanne Zuckerman Werner is a survivor of suicide. The day her husband lost his eight year battle with depression was the day her own battle to recover began. About a year into her own journey, through grief, the author discovered the value of writing, writing and puzzling out the jumble of emotion she was feeling. Each of these short pieces is a snapshot of a particular place and time along the way. Each is an effort to make some sense of an act that makes no sense, an effort to know the unknowable, an effort to control the uncontrollable. Snapshots is the story of the author's own unique journey.
