DeAnna D. Allen is an author from Columbus, Ohio. As a former education professional, Ms. Allen is keen on relevant, yet harsh issues that are sometimes difficult to address with young children. Her first published work, "There's A Monster In My House", was developed to help children to feel confident about telling someone they trust if they are being harmed in any way. As a child sexual abuse survivor, DeAnna is passionate about preventing childhood sexual abuse, and empowering kids to tell if they are being abused. Ms. Allen currently lives in Charlotte, NC and has a teenage daughter.
