These twenty-five Bible based devotions are a way to focus your holiday on the Christ of Christmas and to take Him with you after the celebrations are over and the trappings of the season are packed away. Honoring the traditional Advent Calendar in which a small gift is opened each day as Christmas approaches, with each reading, there is a gift. It may be a gift that you receive or that you give, but either way, you will benefit from putting your faith in action.

Sue Breland is an author, performer, worship director and consultant in Austin, Texas. Sue began writing skits and dramas for church while a teenager, as well as leading the music in worship services and singing throughout her home state of Illinois. With a passion for all things theatrical, Sue attended Anderson University (Anderson, IN) where she could integrate her dramatic interests with a love of the Church into a deep desire to explore the expression of faith through the arts. Sue has traveled across Texas performing one-woman productions of sacred music and original drama for churches, conferences and mission conventions. Sue is a Worship Director, working closely with the Pastor to design worship that endeavors to prepare hearts and minds to receive God's message including written meditations, stewardship thoughts, music, drama, and leading the congregation to worship. She additionally writes and administers its website, social media and blog. Sue is a Breast Cancer conqueror and lives with her husband just outside of beautiful Austin, Texas, with a menagerie of pets, approaching each day with grace and gratitude.
