This tool was developed for parents questioning if their child may be autistic. Parents can explore and examine their child's early developmental period in light of the diagnostic criteria in the DSM-V and sensory challenges. Camille works from a lens of neurodiversity, encouraging parents to start off their quest to support their child from a model that values diversity and builds on strengths. This tool is useful beyond preparation for an autism assessment, as the information that is presented, and the details that are collected by the parents are valuable in seeking other assessments that are deemed necessary. The hope is that parents can feel prepared and supported going into their child's autism assessment.
